In a significant move towards bridging the digital divide in Paraguay, the National Commission of Telecommunications (Conatel) has granted a license to SpaceX Starlink to provide satellite internet services across the country. This decision aligns with the government's commitment to connect every region, even the most remote areas to the internet.  Paraguay President Santiago Peña expressed his enthusiasm for this pivotal development –"Welcome Starlink from Elon Musk to Paraguay . Connecting our entire territory to the digital world is a fundamental step to achieve our government goals," he wrote via X in Spanish on October 8. "Internet connectivity is more than technology, it is also inclusion and opportunities to improve the quality of life of all Paraguayans no matter where they are."   Bienvenido @Starlink de @ElonMusk a Paraguay 🇵🇾.
