British Chieftain Mk.5 Tank Kit - Tamiya 35068 This is a 1/35 scale model of the British Chieftain Mk.5. The Mk.5 was the final variant of the Chieftain, a tank which had seen development as early as the end of WWII. The Chieftain replaced the Centurion, and in many respects, was the evolution of the Centurion. The Mk.5 used an impressive and powerful 750hp L60 Mark 8A engine and featured a 120mm L11A5 tank gun, a cupola-mounted L37A1 7.62 machine gun, and a coaxial L8A1 7.62mm machine gun.
